This outfit represents perfectly, my fashion philosophy on travel wear, which is = comfortable yet quirky & fun. Last year month, between my crazy work schedule, I took a week's break to spend Christmas in Kolkata and it was fun sight seeing, eating, celebrating with the husband & mum. Wore this floral jacket over all black attire (and shoes) for a day of sight seeing.

I love floral jackets but couldn't find the right one for myself.....and then I spotted my good friend & designer(&fashion blogger) Anupriya DG sporting one from her own brand Howrah Bridge. Do check out her brand, its got some awesomely quirky, fun and vibrant stuff!!
One my request, she made me this custom floral jacket, which I wore for the 1st time here. The floral jacket looks really good over the all black attire, which I donned to keep things very simple. A pair of Crocs made it totally comfy to walk around all day for me :)

love that jacket! I don't have a traveling outfit, I guess it depends on where I'm going. If I'm visiting a city it will be different than if I'm visiting some country place. When traveled I do often go for the practical, but sometimes I like to get dressed up even when I'm sight seeing. It all depends on the mood I guess.
