Feelin Earthy Part Deux....Today's Look#26

Earlier, I had talked about outfits which make me feel earthy (when I posted this outfit).

This is one of those outfits, the burnt red base and the leaf pattern on the tunic somehow reminds me of the red earth & banyan trees of our ancestral village.

Tunic/Kurti: FabIndia
Gathered Pants/Salwar: FabIndia
Bag: Hidesign
Bangles: FabIndia
Watch: Titan
Shades; Sundrive
Ballerina Flats: Bata

I wore this on the food walk to Old delhi, for which all the participants/walkers were told to dress conservatively as it was an orthodox & congested area. So combining comfy and conservative together, I chose this cotton tunic/kurti and loose gathered pants/salwar. Kept the accessories minimal with only these chunky wood bangles complementing the outfit.

So how do you guys dress 'conservatively'??!!

I just love your kurta and rust is my favourite shade!

For me 'conservative dressing' would be pretty much the same as you've worn here, with probably a dupatta added on!! Your kurta is really pretty and the bangle stack completes the 'earthy' look!!

If i have to dress conservatively, i would wear something exactly like yours. My wardrobe is full of fab india kurtas and comfortable chudi daars and salwars. And a bit of silver accessory to add to the earthy mood.

Cheers!
