White is the most serene color to wear in the summers and also the most comfortable, as the color is said to reflect all the heat rays back!!
I welcomed summers this year with a lovely white & gold cotton Sari. Wore it to a dinner invite at one of our friend's.
As it was a gathering of mutual friends over dinner, I thought this simple yet elegant cotton Sari was perfect!!
Plus, it was another perfect opportunity for me to display my Sari collection!!
I bought this Sari at a fair on an amazing bargain price, 90% marked down, of the price in a FabIndia Store, (where I saw this exact Sari).
Keeping with the simplicity of this sari, I kept my make up and jwellery to minimum and was mighty pleased with the effect!!
I hope to wear this one more this summer for its comfort and elegance!!!

It's unseasonably mild here in England at the moment so I'm having to get all my summer clothes out of storage. x

I would not call it white and gold cotton. Its the sandal wood shade which makes it graceful.
